Every mother goes through her own dark forest. Although new mothers often experience feelings of immense doubt, shame, and loneliness both during and after their pregnancy, society expects them to act as though they’ve never been happier. This piece is a celebration of the perseverance we see in mom and her ability to overcome all things.
